Our mission is to offer professional planning, engineering, environmental, and surveying services to developers, school districts, municipalities and transportation agencies throughout the central, east and southeast regions of Texas.  High quality products and services, an experienced staff, a select, sophisticated client base, and our use of advanced technology distinguish us as leaders in the industry.  Through our involvement in the analysis, design, construction and operation life-cycle process of notable public and private projects, we have made a direct contribution to the reshaping and preservation of our State.  Our environs have changed, and so have we as we continually strive to improve our quality of life through innovative development of Texas infrastructure.
 

  O’Malley Engineers was established in 1968 by Dick O’Malley, P.E.  For the first several years, service was concentrated in the municipal market.  Since our inception, OE has been responsible for the development of significant utility infrastructure for cities throughout Texas.  A strong environmental sensitivity was developed on these early projects.  We became recognized for this sensitivity, and as a result in the early 1970s, we began performing environmental analysis and documentation on Federal and State transportation projects.  In the late 1970’s, OE began offering full-service surveying services.  A philosophy of first determining and then meeting our client’s needs is the cornerstone to our success.
 

 O’Malley Engineers provides complete civil engineering and surveying services including airport master planning, airports, cathodic protection, environmental assessment, gas distribution systems, highways, streets, parking facilities, parks and recreation, city and regional planning, site planning, subdivisions, rate studies, sanitary engineering, sewage and wastewater collection, treatment and disposal, solid waste disposal, storm sewers, surveying and mapping, transportation studies, water supply, treatment, storage, and distribution, and water tank rehabilitation.
 

Vital to the operation of the firm is our information systems.  Our Computer Aided Design and Drafting system includes the latest technology in both hardware and software systems.  Dependent upon our client’s preference, work is accomplished using either AutoCAD or MicroStation products, both networked on a Windows 2003 server system.  Engineering calculations are performed using a variety of applicable software.  Surveying is performed using Total Stations or a Global Positioning System (GPS) as appropriate.
 

Our seven registered engineers have established themselves in the civil engineering industry by offering planning, design, and construction phase service excellence which exceeds that typically found.  Our engineering designers serve as very capable assistants to our engineers.  O’Malley Engineers offers a full service approach throughout a project’s lifetime.
 

O’Malley Engineers currently maintains 23 full-time employees.  The size of OE is indicative of our belief that, while we must be large enough to provide the manpower to produce large projects in a timely manner, we must remain small enough to offer personal, one-on-one service to our clients.  Every client is important to OE.  This is evidenced by the use of our three principals to manage each and every project, by the longevity of our client relations, and by the quality of our work.
